Philharmonic Friday: Champagne Supernova

A week or so ago, I shared this song with a friend of mine.

It was after a long night of writing and talking.

Confession Bear had also stopped by and emotions were a little close to the surface.

I played this song to complete a point that I was making … something touching and beautiful but easily misunderstood.

As the song played, the moment was so punctuated with sincerity and emotion that hot tears bore the vulnerability of the moment down our cheeks.

Here is something to think about as you listen to the song today:

You are a star as brilliant and expansive as a supernova.

🙂 and again… I smile for the joy and sadness that swells in my heart. A beautiful blast, a tiny pinprick, from an exploding white light to a small black hole that’s as expansive and infinite as it is mysterious and small… What a beautiful contradiction.
